The origin traces back to the South Dakota fields of 2003. That year's pheasant season opener faced unusually hot weather. The combination of dogs unaccustomed to such heat and the remote locations of hunting grounds led to a tragic outcome – over 100 dogs failed to return home that weekend. BodyGuard Health Alert is our response to the question "How could we have helped?"
This patented technology monitors heart rate and the intensity/duration of exertion to determine your dog's exhaustion level. If that level reaches a concerning point, an alert is sent to the remote so you can check in and provide assistance if needed.
If you find the Handheld is alerting you frequently when your dog’s condition is at a normal state, you can adjust the sensitivity of the alert. See support page here on how to adjust.
7 instantly selectable static stimulation levels available from the remote.
You have the option to change the button functions to allow for 21 instantly selectable static stimulation levels (low, medium and high for each number on the dial). See support page here on how to adjust.
If level one is too high or if level 7 is too low, the stimulation range can be adjusted to offer those 7 levels in low, medium, and high ranges. See support page here on how to adjust.
Button functions can be adjusted to suit your training needs. The FS-825 offers:
