Pyramid is a complex game with many tasks to solve by the dog. The parent can regulate level of difficulty (from 1 to 4 paws) by adding and removing parts where treats are hidden. This tridimensional puzzle in shape of a pyramid is ideal for middle size and large breed dogs. It comes with two drawers and 21 tokens (11 “cylinders” and 10 “hats”).
Pyramid is an excellent tool in exercising dog’s concentration skills and provides great opportunity for interaction between a parent and his/her pet.
According to dog’s behaviorists 15 minutes of mental stimulation with employment of interactive game equivalents to 1 hour of physical exercise. This is especially important for the dogs living in large cities where long walks are difficult and impossible, senior dogs with ailments that do not allow them for prolong outings and those living in cold climates where going outside can put animal’s health at risk.
All our games and puzzles are made from certified wood covered with water-based varnish that is not harmful to humans and animals. Please keep the game dry and free of water exposure, as the wooden pieces may swell otherwise. Use only dry treats for playing with our games.
Dimensions: 18”x16”x9”
How to play:
1. Hide as many treats as you like in the openings beneath the movable parts and cover them. Then place cylinders in the circular indentations and drawers and hide more treats under them.
2. Encourage your dog to start searching, first showing him where a treat is waiting.
3. The dog finds the treats by knocking down cylinders and pushing aside movable parts (“hats”), as well as pulling drawer’s handle.
Tip:
Since Pyramid is one of most complex puzzles we designed, be patient with your pet, show him how the game works and encourage to search for the treats. This way you can make sure that your darling enjoys playing together with you and solves the task correctly, strengthening pet’s confidence.
Never let your pet play this game unsupervised and intervene if it starts to chew movable pieces of the game. Regularly check cylinders for any damage such as splinters and nicks. Clean them by wiping with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
